Ladybirds

As children become more mobile, they will make the transition to the ladybird room. This room is large and bright, offering plenty of opportunity for children to explore. A range of resources and activities are provided in this room, to support a wide verity of interests and developmental milestones that can occur with the rising twos age group. There is also a cosy and comfortable area for children to rest in throughout the day. Children in this age group are also starting to become more independent. They might like to have a go at feeding themselves, or take off their own shoes. We encourage this as much as possible but there is always a practitioner on hand to give support. In this room there is also a dedicated changing area, and each child has their own peg to hang their coat and bag on to.
