Babies

Our youngest children start in our dedicated baby room. This room is for children from 3 months of age, up until they are showing confidence in walking. Our baby room can accommodate up to a maximum of 9 babies, with a ratio of one staff member to 3 children. Our baby room offers lots of areas for the children to explore, such as treasure baskets filled with natural materials, a ‘cosy corner’ for children to use for listening to stories, and a ‘messy’ side, where we provide a range of activities that promote sensory exploration.
Our baby room also has its own dedicated changing area for the children, and a separate area and fridge so that bottles can be made according to individual childrens routine. We also regularly take our babies on walks into the local community, and they also enjoy a range of activities in our gardens.
